This change aims to accommodate students' diverse study schedules. To manage this, the library will reduce its weekend hours, closing at 6 PM on Saturdays and remaining closed on Sundays. Additionally, a new quiet study floor will be added to the main building.

Student 1 (Emma): Did you see the notice about the library hours? I'm really excited about the 24/5 schedule. As a night owl, I often can't find a quiet place to study after midnight. This will be perfect for me. Student 2 (Tom): I understand the benefit, but I'm worried about the weekend reduction. I usually spend my entire Sunday in the library preparing for the week. Closing on Sundays would be a huge inconvenience. Emma: True, but think about it—the new quiet study floor will have more spaces, so even with shorter weekend hours, we might have enough room. Plus, most students probably don't use the library on Sunday mornings as much. Tom: I still think it's unfair. Many students, especially those with part-time jobs, rely on Sundays.
