Campus Notice: The university will extend library hours to 24/7 starting next semester to accommodate student study needs. Additionally, a quiet study floor will be added to reduce noise disturbances. The library will close only during holidays and maintenance periods.

Woman: Did you see the notice about the library? I think it's a great idea! Man: Really? I'm not so sure. Extending hours seems wasteful if few students use it late at night. Woman: But many of us have deadlines and group projects. I've had to leave at midnight when I was in the zone. Plus, the quiet floor will help me focus—it's always too noisy. Man: But what about the staff? They'll need to work overnight shifts, which could be costly. And the quiet floor might not solve everything—people still talk on their phones. Woman: True, but with more space, the noise will spread out. And I think the benefits outweigh the costs. I'm really excited about this change!
