Campus Announcement: Extended Library Hours Starting Next Month, the university library will extend its operating hours from 10:00 PM to 2:00 AM on weekdays during finals week. This change aims to provide students with more study time. In addition, a new quiet study floor will be opened on the fourth floor to accommodate students who prefer a distraction-free environment.

W: Did you see the announcement about the library hours? I think it's a great move.
M: Really? I'm not so sure. First, extending hours until 2 AM might not help much because many students, like me, have early morning classes. Staying that late would mess up our schedules and make us too tired to focus the next day.
W: But what about the new quiet floor? That's a big plus for me. I can't concentrate with group discussions on the first floor.
M: I agree the quiet floor is nice, but it's only one floor. During finals, it will fill up quickly, so most students won't even benefit from the extended hours or the quiet space.
W: I see your point, but I still think it's better than nothing.
