Additionally, a new quiet study floor will be added on the third floor, equipped with individual study carrels. These changes aim to improve the academic environment for all students.

W: Did you see the announcement about the library? I think it's a great idea. M: Really? I'm not so sure. Extending hours to midnight sounds nice, but who's actually going to use it that late? Most students are done by 10 PM. W: That's not true! Many of us, especially grad students, study late, especially before exams. And the quiet floor is a game-changer for me—I can't focus with people walking around. M: But the quiet floor will only have individual carrels. What about group study? We rely on group discussions in the library. This might reduce collaborative space. W: They're just adding a floor, not removing group areas. Plus, the carrels will help those who need absolute silence. I think it's a win-win.
