Notice: Starting next semester, the university will extend library hours to 2 AM on weekdays to accommodate late-night study demands. To fund this, the library will reduce its weekend hours, closing at 6 PM instead of 10 PM. The administration believes this change will better serve the majority of students who need extended access during exam periods.

Woman: Did you see the library announcement? I'm really not happy about it. Man: Why? I thought you'd be thrilled about staying up late to study. Woman: Sure, but they're cutting weekend hours! I do most of my research on Saturdays, and now I'll have to rush out by 6 PM. Man: That's a trade-off, but I think it's worth it. On weekdays, I can't find a seat after 8 PM. Now I can study until 2 AM before big exams. Woman: But weekend evenings are when I have free time to work on long projects. The library is quiet then, and I can concentrate. Man: I get that, but most students are busiest on weekdays. The change helps more people overall. Woman: I disagree. They could have extended hours without cutting weekends. Maybe they could just close a bit earlier on Fridays instead.
