托福口语 Task 2

Campus Announcement: Starting next semester, the university library will extend its hours to 24/7 during finals week. Additionally, a new quiet study floor will be added to reduce noise disturbances. The administration believes these changes will improve student performance and satisfaction.

Woman: Did you see the announcement about the library? I think it's a great idea! Man: Really? I'm not so sure. The 24/7 hours during finals might not be enough. What about the rest of the semester? Many students pull all-nighters for regular exams too. Woman: That's true, but at least it helps during the most stressful time. Plus, the new quiet floor is a big win. I can never find a silent place to study now. Man: But they're only adding one floor. It'll fill up quickly, and the noise on other floors will remain. They should enforce quiet rules better instead. Woman: I see your point, but I still think it's a step forward. More options mean more flexibility for students like me.
