Campus Announcement: New Library Hours Starting Next Month. To better serve students during exam periods, the library will extend its hours to 24/7 from the last two weeks of each semester. Additionally, a new quiet study floor will be added on the fourth floor, accessible only to graduate students. These changes aim to reduce noise and provide more study space during high-demand times.

M: Did you see the announcement about the library? I think it's a great idea, especially the 24/7 hours during finals. Last semester, I had to leave at midnight when I was in the middle of studying for my biology exam. It was really frustrating.
W: I agree that the extended hours are helpful, but I'm concerned about the new quiet floor for grad students only. As an undergraduate, I often need a quiet place too, and the main floors can get really noisy. Why restrict it?
M: That's true, but I think it makes sense because grad students have more intensive research and need a dedicated space. Plus, they've been complaining about noise from undergrads for years. The new floor might actually free up more space for us on other floors since grad students will move there.
W: I hadn't thought about that. I guess it could work out. But I still wish they'd consider opening it to all students during non-peak hours.
M: Well, at least we have the 24/7 option now. That's a big win for everyone.
