M: Did you see the announcement about the library staying open until 2 AM during finals? I think it's a great idea. First, with more students needing quiet study spots, the extra hours will really help reduce the crowding we usually see. I remember last year I couldn't find a seat after 8 PM, so this gives us more flexibility. Second, the late-night shuttle is a brilliant addition. I often stay late, and walking back to the dorms alone is scary. Now I'll feel safer. The extra staff cost is worth it for our safety and academic success.
