Campus Announcement: New Meal Plan Policy Starting next semester, all undergraduate students living on campus will be required to purchase the 19-meal-per-week meal plan. The university believes this will simplify dining operations and reduce food waste. Additionally, the plan will offer a 10% discount on all meals, making it more affordable for students who eat most meals on campus.

Woman: Did you see the announcement about the new meal plan policy? I think it's a terrible idea. Man: Really? I thought it might be good for saving money. Why don't you like it? Woman: First, I often go home on weekends and don't need 19 meals a week. I'll be paying for meals I never eat. That's a waste of money. Second, I enjoy cooking my own meals sometimes, but with this mandatory plan, I'll have to eat in the cafeteria even when I'd rather cook. It takes away my freedom to choose.
