Woman: Did you see the announcement about the library staying open later? I think it's a great idea. I'm always rushing to finish my essays before 10, and sometimes I just get into a flow at night. M: I see your point, but I'm not so sure. It's going to cost a lot to keep the library staffed for two more hours. W: True, but they said they'll hire student workers—that gives more on-campus jobs. And honestly, I rarely use the print journals anyway. The online versions are usually more up-to-date and easier to search. M: Still, some professors require us to cite print sources for certain assignments. If they cut those, it could be a problem. W: I think the online access covers that. Plus, for me, the extra study time is worth it. I often have group projects that can only meet late in the evening, and the library is the only quiet place. M: Well, when you put it that way, maybe it's a fair trade-off.
