Notice: Starting next semester, the university library will extend its weekend hours from 10 AM-6 PM to 10 AM-10 PM on Saturdays and Sundays. This change is in response to student requests for more study time during weekends. Additionally, the library will now offer free coffee and tea in the study lounge on weekends to create a more comfortable environment. The extended hours will be funded by a small increase in the student activity fee.

M: Did you see the library announcement? I'm pretty excited about it.
W: Really? I'm not so sure. The extra hours sound good, but the fee increase bothers me.
M: But think about it—during finals, the library is packed, and many of us have nowhere to study on weekends. Plus, free coffee will keep us awake and save us money.
W: I guess, but I usually study at home or the campus café on weekends. The library is always so quiet and formal—I don't feel comfortable there.
M: That's true, but for students who live with roommates or in noisy dorms, the library is a lifesaver. And the fee is only five dollars per semester—that's nothing compared to the cost of buying coffee every weekend.
W: Five dollars is fine, but I still think the library should focus on more books and databases, not just longer hours. That would help my research more.
M: I get that, but I think the extended hours will help more students overall. I'm supporting it.
