Campus Announcement: Extended Library Hours During Finals Week. Starting next Monday, the library will remain open until 2 a.m. instead of midnight. This change will apply only during the final exam period. Additional security staff will be on duty during the extended hours. The library will revert to regular hours after exams conclude.

Woman: Did you see the announcement about the library staying open later? I think it's a great idea. I always have so much to study for finals, and sometimes I need extra time at night. Man: I see your point, but I'm not so sure. I mean, who's really going to study until 2 a.m.? Most people are too tired by then. And the library is already crowded during the day, so maybe they should just add more study spaces instead. Woman: But for those of us who have late classes or group projects, those extra two hours can make a big difference. Plus, I heard they're adding more security, so it's safer too. Man: I guess that helps, but I still think most students won't use it much. I'd rather they spent the money on more weekend hours, since that's when I actually need to study.
