W: I get that, but extending hours every weekend seems wasteful. They could just do it during exam weeks. M: But having regular hours means we can plan better. Also, they're hiring more student assistants, so it creates jobs. W: Jobs? Those are low-paying, and it might take away from study time for those students. M: Still, I think the benefits outweigh the drawbacks. The extra time lets me and others focus without rushing, and the jobs are flexible. W: I see your point, but I still think it's an overreaction.
