Campus Announcement: Starting next semester, the university will extend library hours to 24/7 during finals week. In addition, a new quiet study floor will be added to reduce noise complaints. The administration believes these changes will improve student performance and satisfaction.

M: Did you see the announcement about the library? I think it's a great idea. W: Really? I'm not so sure. I mean, 24/7 during finals sounds nice, but who actually studies at 3 a.m.? Most students are too exhausted by then. M: But some students are night owls, and they need a place to go. Plus, the new quiet floor is perfect for me—I can't concentrate with group study noise. W: I get that, but they're only extending hours for one week. What about the rest of the semester? And the quiet floor—it's only one floor, but the whole library is already noisy because of group projects. They should enforce rules better instead. M: Well, I still think it's a step forward. At least they're trying.
