Campus Announcement: The university will extend the library's hours to 24/5 (Sunday night through Friday night) starting next semester. This change aims to accommodate students with varying study schedules. To fund this, the library will reduce its weekend hours to 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. on Saturdays and remain closed on Sundays. The administration believes this will better serve the majority of students during peak study times.

W: Really? I thought it was a great idea. I often study late on weekdays.
M: But they're cutting weekend hours! I usually do all my research on Saturdays. The library is my go-to place then.
W: I get that, but I think most students are busiest during the week, especially with exams. Plus, with 24/5, we can study even later on weekdays.
M: Still, closing early on Saturday means less time for group projects. We often meet then. And Sunday being closed is a huge problem for me.
W: I guess it depends on your schedule. For me, the new hours are perfect.
M: Well, I strongly oppose it. The weekend is when I catch up on readings and papers. Reducing those hours hurts students like me who work part-time on weekdays.
