Campus Notice: New Library Hours Starting next semester, the university library will extend its hours from 10:00 PM to midnight on weekdays. This change aims to accommodate students who prefer late-night study sessions. Additional security staff will be hired to ensure safety during the extended hours. The library will remain open 24 hours during finals week as usual.

Student 1: Did you see the notice about the library hours? I think it's great! I always struggle to find a quiet place to study after my evening classes. With the extra two hours, I can get more work done without rushing. Student 2: I see your point, but I actually disagree. The library is already crowded and noisy until 10 PM. Extending hours won't help if the study rooms are still full. Plus, I live on campus, and the extra security costs mean higher tuition for everyone. I'd rather they used that money to add more group study spaces or better Wi-Fi. Student 1: True, but late-night access is still useful for commuters like me. We don't have dorms nearby, so the library is our only option. And I heard they'll also add more outlets and desks in the extended area. Student 2: Maybe, but I still think it's not worth the expense. Most students don't study past 10 PM anyway.
