They're cutting group study rooms. My project team meets there every week, and they're already hard to book. M: True, but think about it—most students use the library alone at night. Group rooms are less needed then. Plus, the extra fee is only $10 per semester, which is nothing compared to the benefit of having 24/5 access. W: I see your point about the fee, but I still think reducing group rooms will hurt collaborative projects. Maybe they could have kept some group rooms open at night instead of cutting them entirely.
