Campus Notice: The university will extend the library hours to 24/7 during finals week, starting from next Monday to Friday. This change aims to provide students with more flexible study time. However, the library will restrict access to the second and third floors during overnight hours, and only students with valid IDs will be allowed entry after midnight.

M: Did you see the notice about the library being open all night during finals? I think it's a great idea. W: Really? I'm not so sure. I mean, it sounds good, but what about the restriction on the second and third floors? That's where all the quiet study rooms are. M: True, but they still have the first floor and the main reading area. Plus, the ground floor has group study spaces. I usually study there anyway. W: But I prefer quiet areas to concentrate. The first floor can get pretty noisy with people coming and going. M: I get that, but I think the main benefit is having the option to study late at all. Many of us have part-time jobs or group projects that need late-night work. And the ID check is just for security, which makes me feel safer. W: I suppose that's a point. But I still think they should keep more floors open. However, I do admit that having 24/7 access is better than nothing.
