Man: Did you see the notice about the library hours? I think it's a great idea. I often stay late to study, and having two extra hours would really help, especially before finals. Woman: True, but I'm worried about the cost. Hiring more assistants isn't cheap, and the university might cut funds elsewhere, like the art supplies budget. Man: I get that, but they said they're using new funding, not reallocating existing funds. Also, I've tried to study during the day, but it's too noisy. Late nights are the only quiet time, so this directly solves my problem. Woman: I see your point, but I'd rather they spent on more morning workshops. Man: Those workshops are useful, but they're not as flexible for students with part-time jobs. The extended hours benefit more students overall.
