Campus Announcement: The university will extend the library's operating hours to 24/7 during finals week. This change aims to provide students with more flexible study spaces. Additional security will be present, and only students with valid IDs will be admitted after midnight. The extended hours will be in effect from the Sunday before finals until the last day of exams.

M: Did you see the email about the library staying open all night during finals? That's great, isn't it? W: Actually, I'm not so sure. I mean, it sounds helpful, but I think it's a bad idea. M: Why? More study time is always good. W: Well, first, I think it will make students procrastinate even more. If they know the library is open all night, they'll put off studying until the last minute, thinking they can pull all-nighters. That's not good for their health or grades. M: Hmm, I see your point. But what about those who genuinely need late-night study spots? W: That's the second thing—I live off-campus, and if I stay late, I'd have to walk home in the dark. The campus is not that well-lit, and it's risky. I'd rather have the library close at midnight and start early in the morning. So overall, I'm against it.
