🎧 Listening Conversation
M: Did you see the library announcement? 24 hours during finals? That's great, right?
W: Actually, I'm not so sure. I mean, I like the idea of more study time, but I'm worried about the noise. I usually study in the quiet areas, and at night, some students might think it's okay to chat or have group discussions anywhere.
M: But they have separate group study rooms, don't they? And the announcement says extra security will be there, so maybe they'll also enforce the quiet rules.
W: Maybe, but another thing is that I live on campus, and the library is right next to my dorm. With people coming and going all night, it could get noisy outside. I need my sleep for exams, you know.
M: That's a fair point. I hadn't thought about the noise outside.
W: Yeah, so while I appreciate the effort, I think it might cause more problems than it solves.
