Campus Announcement: Starting next semester, the university will extend library hours to 24/7 during finals week. This change aims to provide more study space for students during high-stress periods. To accommodate this, the library will reduce its operating hours on weekends during the rest of the semester to balance the budget.

Man: Did you see the announcement about the library? I think it's a great idea. Woman: Really? I'm not so sure. Extending hours only during finals week doesn't help much. I often need to study late on regular weekends, especially before midterms. Man: But at least we'll have all-night access when it matters most. Plus, many students pull all-nighters during finals, so it meets the real demand. Woman: Yes, but cutting weekend hours now means less time for group projects and research. That's when I have the most free time. Man: True, but they say it's a budget trade-off. I think focusing resources on finals week is smarter. Woman: I understand, but I'd rather have consistent hours all semester. We lose more than we gain.
