M: Did you see the announcement about the library? I think it's a great idea.
W: Really? I'm not so sure. The 24/7 hours sound good, but the free coffee and snacks might be a problem. It could get noisy and distracting.
M: But they're only in the lobby, not in the study areas. And it's a nice way to keep students energized without having to leave the library.
W: I guess, but I'm worried about the cost. Where's the money coming from? Maybe they'll cut other services, like the writing center.
M: I doubt it. The announcement says it's funded by a private donor. Plus, having a quiet place to study at 3 AM is worth it.
W: But some students need quiet during the day too. If everyone studies at night, the study rooms might be crowded during regular hours.
M: That's not a big issue. The library has enough space. Overall, I think it's a positive change.
