Campus Announcement: Starting next semester, the university will extend library hours to 24/5 (Sunday night through Friday night). This change aims to accommodate students' diverse study schedules, especially during finals. To implement this, the library will reduce its weekend hours from 10 AM-6 PM to 1 PM-6 PM on Saturdays and Sundays.

W: Did you see the email about the library hours? I think it's a great move. M: Really? I'm not so sure. I mean, 24/5 sounds nice, but cutting weekend hours to just five hours a day is a big loss. W: But think about it—most students are busy during weekdays with classes and part-time jobs. The overnight hours on weekdays allow us to study after work or classes. I often stay until midnight, but now I can stay even later without rushing. M: I get that, but weekends are when I do my heavy research for papers. With only five hours on Saturday, I can't get everything done. And Sunday afternoon is my only free time; now it's gone. W: Well, you could use the extended weekday nights. The library will be more crowded on weekends now, but honestly, I prefer quiet late-night study sessions. Plus, the university says they'll add more study rooms for group work on weekdays. M: That doesn't help me. I need the full weekend to work on my thesis. This change is unfair to students like me.
