Campus Announcement: Starting next semester, the university library will extend its operating hours to 24/7 during midterm and final exam weeks. Additionally, a new quiet study floor will be added to reduce noise disturbances. The administration believes these changes will better support students' academic needs during peak study periods.

Student 1: Did you see the announcement about the library? I think it's a great idea. I always struggle to find a quiet place to study during finals, and the extra hours mean I can stay as late as I need without rushing. Student 2: I see your point, but I'm not so sure. Extending hours 24/7 sounds expensive, and they might cut other services like the book budget to pay for it. Also, the new quiet floor might not solve the noise problem because people still talk in the elevators and hallways. Student 1: Well, I think the benefits outweigh the costs. I've had to study in my dorm room before because the library closed, and it's too noisy there. Having the library open all night gives me a reliable option. Plus, the quiet floor will at least reduce the noise inside the study areas, even if it's not perfect. Student 2: I guess for students like you who need absolute focus, it helps. But I'm worried about the financial trade-offs. The university might raise student fees later to cover these changes.
