Campus Notice: Extended Library Hours During Finals Week Starting Monday, the university library will extend its operating hours to 24/7 until the end of finals week. This change aims to provide students with more flexible study time. In addition, the library will open a new quiet study floor on the fourth level, reserved exclusively for individual study. Students must use their ID cards to access this floor after 10 p.m.

M: Did you see the library notice? I'm really excited about the 24/7 hours. I often study late at night, and the current 10 p.m. closing time is just too early. W: I get that, but I'm worried about the quiet floor. It might be too restrictive. What if I need to discuss something with a classmate? We can't use the group study rooms on that floor. M: That's true, but you can still use the other floors for group work. Plus, the quiet floor will help me focus without distractions. I have two major papers due, so I need total silence. W: But what about the ID requirement after 10 p.m.? Some students might forget their cards and get locked out. That seems unfair. M: I think it's for safety. And honestly, most students carry their IDs anyway. I'm just glad we have more options now.
