Campus Announcement: The university will extend library hours to 24/5 (24 hours, 7 days a week) starting next semester. This change aims to accommodate students' diverse study schedules, especially during exam periods. To implement this, the library will reduce the number of available group study rooms and will hire additional part-time staff. Students are encouraged to use the extended hours responsibly.

M: Did you see the announcement about the library? I think it's a great idea. I often pull all-nighters before finals, and the current closing time of midnight really disrupts my flow. Having 24/5 access means I can study when I'm most productive without worrying about being kicked out. Plus, I sometimes work on group projects late in the evening, and even though they're reducing group study rooms, I usually just study alone anyway. So that doesn't bother me. The extra staff also means the library will be better maintained during late hours, which is a plus. Overall, I'm really in favor of this change.
