As global climate change accelerates, an increasing number of countries have pledged to achieve "net-zero emissions." At the same time, however, some developing nations argue that stringent environmental policies could hinder their economic growth and poverty alleviation efforts. When balancing ecological responsibility against economic priorities, do you believe that wealthy countries have an obligation to unilaterally bear a greater share of the emission reduction burden, or should every country set targets of equal ambition based on its own level of development? Please articulate your position and provide specific reasons and examples to support it.
