Meanwhile, some governments are promoting policies that encourage homeownership, viewing it as a driver of social stability and economic security. Critics, however, counter that a lifelong renting culture can enhance labor mobility and offer individuals greater freedom. Faced with these two conflicting perspectives, do you believe homeownership should be upheld as a social ideal, or should renting as a long-term lifestyle receive the same respect and legal protection as buying?
