In many countries, as healthcare improves and living standards rise, the proportion of elderly populations continues to grow. Yet this trend does not paint a single social picture: some view an aging society as a heavy burden—strained medical resources, pressured pension systems, and a shrinking labor market; others see it as an opportunity, believing that experienced seniors can become the core of community cohesion and intergenerational transmission. In your view, should aging be seen more as a threat to society or as a potential driver of development? Please state your clear position and elaborate on the reasons and concrete examples supporting that stance.
