As distance education technology becomes increasingly sophisticated, the value of physical university classrooms is being called into question as never before. Yet many still insist that face-to-face interaction and communal life on campus constitute the irreplaceable soul of higher education. In an era when the cost of digital learning continues to decline, should universities still require all students to study full-time on campus, or should they allow them the freedom to complete their degrees entirely online? Please argue your position, providing specific reasons and examples to support your view.
