Good morning, everyone. Today we're going to discuss the impact of urban green spaces on mental health. A recent study conducted in Melbourne followed over 2,000 adults for five years. Interestingly, the researchers found that people living within 300 meters of a park or garden reported significantly lower levels of stress and anxiety. However, the effect was stronger for those who actually visited the green space at least once a week, rather than just having it nearby. The study also noted that the size of the green area mattered less than its accessibility and the presence of trees.
