In today's lecture, we'll discuss urban green spaces. Recent studies show that access to parks can significantly reduce stress levels. However, the location of these spaces matters. A park near residential areas encourages daily use, while those in commercial districts are often visited only during lunch breaks. Interestingly, the size of the park is less important than its proximity to public transport. For example, a small garden next to a bus stop can have a greater positive impact than a large park requiring a car journey. Therefore, city planners should prioritize creating small, accessible green areas over large, distant ones.
