Today in our environmental science lecture, we'll discuss urban green spaces. Recent studies show that parks in cities not only improve air quality but also significantly reduce stress levels among residents. However, a key finding is that the distance to these spaces matters. People living within a 10-minute walk report the highest satisfaction, while those farther away benefit less. Interestingly, the size of the park seems less important than its accessibility. So, city planners should focus on creating small, local parks rather than a few large ones.
