Good morning, everyone. Today we'll discuss the impact of urban green spaces on mental health. A recent study followed 1,000 adults over five years. Participants who visited parks at least twice a week reported 20% lower stress levels. Interestingly, the duration of each visit mattered more than frequency. Even a 15-minute walk in a green area significantly improved mood, but visits shorter than 10 minutes had little effect. The study also noted that people living within 500 meters of a park were more likely to exercise regularly. However, researchers emphasized that simply seeing trees from a window did not produce the same benefits as physical presence.
