Participants who lived within 300 meters of a park or garden reported significantly lower stress levels. Interestingly, the size of the green space mattered less than its accessibility. Even small community gardens showed benefits, provided they were well-maintained and had benches for resting. The researchers also noted that the positive effect was stronger for people over 50. However, they emphasized that correlation does not imply causation, and further studies are needed.
