Participants who had a view of trees from their desks reported 15% lower stress levels and 20% higher productivity. Interestingly, the effect was stronger for those who spent at least 20 minutes outdoors during lunch breaks. The study also found that even small balconies with plants provided some benefit, though not as much as full parks. Researchers suggest that city planners should prioritize creating pocket parks within 500 meters of office buildings.
